I'm looking for a wah pedal that only use for distortion solo (I don't use fuzz), the tone I prefer more grain in mids and throaty, but not too harsh and shrill treble,
So if there are Area 51, Wilson wahs, RMC wizard, Fulltone clyde deluxe, CAE MC404 which one should I choose?
Thanks of help!

definitely check out the Area 51. i was playing mine over the weekend, in a shoot-out with some of my other wahs. on dirty sounds, it has a great gainy midrange-y sound that makes me think of that hissy boiling back-throat sound when a cat hisses. as opposed to the "dry" and not-gainy sound of some of my more vintage-voiced wahs. its treble is not too much for me, but i roll the wah pot back one gear-tooth from the highest treble end.

i like the 535Q a lot too, but on mine i've raised the value of the input cap, which makes them fatter and thicker than the stock value. you can probably score a 535Q off ebay for cheap and check it out, much easier than you can find an Area 51. but the 51 sounds great and might really fit what you're after.

Ive had everything on your list and around 25+ more. I still own the Wilson.

Yep, the Wilson is a killer wah.

At $799.00, you just know Zachman has one on his pedalboard... ;)

The Vision is one I regret sell. When I had mine they were a few hundred less. IMO the Vision had the best Hendrix wah sweeps. It seemed a bit on the subtle side but with distortion it was wicked

Also found the Vertex Axis Wah seems nice too, has anyone experience of it?
