There was a good Peter Santenello vid on DC talking to a lawyer who specializes in government waste. His wife worked at the NIH for a while, she said they would get allocations of work to be done every month and it would take her 2 days to do it, then she had nothing to do for the rest of the month besides watch videos on her tablet.
I know of a guy that worked in DHS for a long time, he butted heads with some managers, they wanted him to quit, he didn't and couldn't fire him so he just sat at his desk all day doing nothing for over a year, then they took everything away from him in his office, computer, desk, chair, etc. So he'd bring a lawn chair into work every day and just sit in his office collecting his a 180k year paycheck until retirement.
All those BS medical studies are created to satiate the budget, because if they have surplus at the end of the year, their budget is cut. Government is the biggest threat to national security. Our economy is probably functioning at like 5% efficiency because of all the waste and tax burden it puts on in order to purposefully waste tax money to keep budgets growing and support tens of millions of pointless, highly paid jobs.
They could easily fire 10 million federal jobs and save a trillion in payroll per year. Get rid of income tax.
