I remember God Forbid from years ago, I dug that. I'm not a fan of metalcore, or this band in the least. Lamb Of God is more my speed, but I'm still an old-school thrash guy..
 
God Forbid was great. Every album they released was killer.

And I personally cannot get into AILD because of that muther fukcer. Spineless fuck.

Killswitch Engage is my fav of this bunch. They have a new album coming out soon and they invited Howard to sing a song - which is pure class IMO.

I feel the same way, wouldn't be able to support them. I can't speak for the band personally but it seemed the band disowned Tim after the incident and now it was unemployment and money that brought them together.

Without any bias I really don't like the newer stuff either. It is not horrible but Oceans between us was the high point of their career IMO. That song and album was their best work to me and I was much more into Pyrythion and Austrian Death Machine over AILD.

Gone forever was great and their first album too. They were amazing live and super cool guys. Docs newer band Bad Wolves is actually really good too for the genre.
 
Sounds like 2004 all over again. The more I listen to it the more mundane.
 
Some great riffing for sure... good tune. I am hit or miss on this scene but can get into it for a few songs at a time. Pretty messed up and amateur that he ordered a hit on his wife when he could have just sunk a bit of cash into getting a cut throat lawyer who would probably have settled things nicely for him. That said, if he was worried about child support and had kids, he's a prick and deserves nothing.
