Damn, i used to listen to that song back in the day. Just a masterpiece. This is epic!!

Nice!
Just checked out his channel - he's got monster chops - and gets great tones out of that Ironball setup.

Yeah, this guy spends lots of time learning these songs. Look at the fret wear and divots.

Yeah man, this guy is absolutely smoking. Love that first Vinnie album, so many moments on there that give me goosebumps still today. Vinnie is perfect on that album. I know he came after YJM but he is different enough to me to have stood out on his own merit. Great instrumental song writer. The live stuff he did with UFO is also pretty awesome. I'm a huge Schenker guy but damn if Vinnie doesn't rip that stuff just right.

Love the outro solo he did on Love to Love. So Vinnie and smoking. I'm going to check out more of that guy's covers though. I bet he handles YJM with relative ease as well.

Jesus, this guy is no joke. That's hours in the woodshed and likely a few refrets. He's super accurate in his timing too. Hangs the notes just right and gets his vibrato bang on.

Actually, I used to play a few songs from that album half decent with economy picking and legato, but struggled with his later albums because they progressively incorporated a lot more blues phrasing which is very difficult without Vinnie's level of skill. That dude does a better job, and the keyboard part was very cool indeed. Mind's Eye is my favorite Vinnie Moore album, but I like all his albums up through The Maze. I'm not a big fan of his departure from his astronomical-shred roots towards a blues oriented style, but Vinnie is up there with Paul Gilbert, Yngwie, etc. Very cool guitar cover.
