I was looking for studio monitors.

Cool. I'm not sure what to recommend, but I'm sure others will chime in. I don't do a lot of recording so I have no clue myself. Live I could be more help. Sorry.

Wait till you start loading in some other cabs. Not that the stockers are bad, but there are some others out there that I feel are superior.

Anybody know when V10 will be out for download? I am looking forward to comparing the Marsha to my Kitchen Sink

Probably a week or so. It's in beta test now.

I'm seriously thinking about getting one. I was going to shell out $2000 for another amp to have as a back up to my main amp but after thinking about it I'm leaning towards buying an Axe-FX Ultra and having the ability to have multiple amp sounds and the ability to have a much smaller rig and still keep my main amp setup that I use now if I feel like lugging it out for bigger shows. Anybody know how long the wait is if I wanted to order one? I saw on their site that the Ultra is not available right now.

The thing is if you know the inner workings of a tube amp, you can get killer sounds from the Ultra in very little time because all the parameters are there to adjust. I haven't even gotten to the effects yet!!

I've really only added reverb to my patches after owning the Ultra for about 3 months. I'll get there eventually. Most of my time has been spent a/bing with my Herbert to convince myself I don't need it anymore.

What power-amp are you using? Can you post up some of your patches... ;)
Hey there mhenson42... would you be so kind as to share your A/B Herbert Axe-fx patche(s)? :D

I posted it on the Fractal forums the other day.... :)

You rock!!!

I'm sure I missed it cuz I've been banned from there... so I don't check it as often...

Have you been able to get a similar patch using your Art SLA-2? I currently have a QSC GX5... I've actually heard great things about the 2/90/2... but it's too rich for my blood (at the moment). Good thing is I already have a Painkiller in my Ibanez so hopefully your patch will translate well on my setup. Thanks again!!!

If you turn the power-amp sims on and run it through the ART, you may need to re-eq a little, but it sounds alright. Better through the 2/90/2.

Steve,

Can you enlighten us with what else has been added to the 10.0 firmware ?

Any new amps other than the Shiva and Marsha ?
