Skimming thru the booklets in the debut and Voodoo Highway now , there was all sorts of issues in this band right off the bat . Ray was insistent on the the manager of his choice or he was gonna leave the band , Eric and Ray were against Greg Chassion in the band from the beginning, Eric wanted the band to play the records company’s game with a more commercial sound . Ray started to complain to the record company that Voodoo Highway wasn’t sounding commercial enough, knowing this would most likely be his last album he wanted it to be memorable. They eventually fired Ray but brought him back due to his replacement wanting more money. Ray continued to talk trash about Jake in Kerrang magazine and from the stage in London.
