I think "through silver in blood" is Neurosis' best album and that's what... '96 or so, not that they haven't released any good albums after, it's just that that album was their peak IMO.Sólstafir

I noticed that Death started using less gain on their tone later on and it just doesn't sound as heavy to me. Human sounds really heavy to me.I kinda disagree. Human is my favorite, but Symbolic and Sounds of Perseverance both kicked major ass. Definitely not inferior in any way than Human, just different, (still in a good way).
Opeth did get better with age if you start with Morning Rise.. Blackwater Park, Deliverance, to Ghost Reveries, to Watershed. But, of course they went a different route after...
