Hi guys,

Looking at purchasing a Barefaced Reformer 112 and after some real world experience stories with these cabs. Do they live up to the hype?, do you have one and still use it regularly?. Were you disappointed?.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing from the general community if these cabs are worth the plunge.

Cheers.

Cool design.

I've often wondered what a cabinet would sound like with no wood on the bottom of the cabinet and 2" rubber feet?

I'm more interested in the 2x12 cab. I don't need more volume. But better sound distribution than directional 4x12 cabs. The general voicing.

The voice is what I am most interested in.

i think they sound amazing. my friend has two 1x12s which are the best 1x12s i’ve ever heard,
and three 2x12s which in a wdw is a great way to downsize from 3 - 4x12s and still sound big.

but-
you still need to strategize what speakers you’ll use, wattage, and if you actually want sound radiating in a sphere off your open back speaker cab versus the directionality of a closed back cab.

there is a unique magic about low wattage celestion type speakers in a traditional 4x12.

I have a Usurper 112w with a v30 and it sounds huge. I have been kicking around the idea of getting a 212 as well. Big sound a light weight. I have had mine for maybe 8-9 months, no regrets
