Baron Custom Amps doesn't have enough hype

I dont know which model I heard but I loved it. maybe a KT66 one ? ? love KT66 mid roar

God I want a B series so bad. You have a lot of options on yours. Whatcha got going on there?
 
Bright switches each for the Crunch and Lead channels, a Wet/Dry voicing, shape control, boost, master voice for normal/tight, etc. Most if not all of that is pretty much standard now. I had a solo boost put in which is the the big knob above the Main volume. Don't really use the solo boost though because I had some later modifications done to it and tend to use one of the dirty channels as a solo boost instead. I wasn't really using the Crunch channel so Dave did the following for me, basically making it like an EL34 K88.

Changed out the Crunch/Lead switching system to the K88 Gain A/B system so both are identical tone wise.
Changed the wet/Dry switch to add the clipping circuit aka Cameron style. It can be switched ON or OFF as desired.
Tightened up the bass just a tad.

I am certainly not the end all of tone connisseurs so don't claim this is the best way to go but it works better for me. He's had people request the reverse done to their K88 so to each his own. I can certainly say though that both amps are really nice.
 
Sounds interesting. Mine doesn't have all those options as mine is an older model. It's actually not even the high gain version of the K88. Dave shot me a few things to change so I'm gonna do that to get it up to date!

looking for trade offers on my m2 , great amp just sont get much playing time. intrested in other guitar amps

Dave is #1 in customer service and I bought both used! He answers all my questions speedily in detail without a hint of frustration. Hope to order a custom build when finances permit. These amps have so much going on for them in the sound dept and they never get tiring on the ears.

They really don't. My Baron K88 is the only amp I ever kept for almost 2 years now. Every other amp has flown out the door. Now the K88 is the only amp I have and I'm just fine with that. A B series might be in order in months to come. Or perhaps another Snott.
 
what does one of those cool snott watts with the light up panel cost a guy roughly?
 
Should be insanely reasonably priced at around 650$. But contact the guy for an offer.
