BE100 revisions?

Get me up to speed...

Looking at getting a BE100 very soon and wanted to know of any revisions to the BE100 model specifically recently? I am going to do some reading but any responses would be greatly appreciated!

Hasn't been any real changes in a while. No changes planed either. You going to buy used or new? The rev we did was over the summer with a new board in the amp. This allowed better reliability and dc tube heaters for a very very low noise floor. Tone remained the same if not slightly better.

interesting question in the same vein. Have an older one, Marsha, but has the Friedman faceplate,#49 kitchen sink, simple clean, loop. Looks like a Metroamp base.

How different is this amp than what is shipping today? What is better about the current configuration over this past time period.

Well it depends on what was done or updated on the amp. I would have to see pics. All of them are good but the design has been refined over the years.

I'm just curious, the first delivery to Musik Produktiv (The BE 100 with 5 préamp tubes) have they a latest version of the board ?

I have one of them and I find it really quiet ! I can't imagine something more quiet to be honest.

No that was the old board. The new board started shipping early summer. You literally can turn everything on ten and all you here is hiss. Not even the slightest hum at all. But there is nothing wrong with your amp, it's still great.
