i know this might disturb the beehive...but...its for the kids, so they dont get taken by the 'sales sharks'...its too late for us oldies...

I shall never have wheels on my bins.

roll it around on logs like egyptians rolled rocks...dedicated sled for a quad...none of these stiffle the vibrations from the mighty 'box of doom'

Does this guy know anything about circuits or is he just a performer?
performer AND reformer !

we needed to hear that out loud...with a bit of a stylish presentation...so it sinks...although, as you can read, ppl are still refusing to use WHEELS and they've been invented for years now...if not decades....!!!!

Only post mesopotamian morons use wheels.

Yeah this dude's vids are awesome
yep ! the lengths he's willing to go to....and resources...minute details to 'iron out'...

i mean, we can all 'feel the matrix' but he literally records it and exposes it for what it is...a 'sales technique' !!!

He may be able to describe a lot of stuff empirically but I can say with a fact his lack of electrical knowledge is apparent trying to solve what makes a guitar amplifier sound the way it does. I know how they work in detail and as do a few others on the forum and it’s got a lot more to do with interstage design, even and odd harmonics, and LRC filters. Fuckloads of LRC filters.

He also apparently hasn’t learned but everything you find on the internet must be true. People have written books to answer the question he’s looking for with the math behind it to prove it. And yet he goes to the internet.

I applaud his effort to try to describe what happens in detail. He’s trying to answer a question to help others that isn’t easy, and he did admit it took him 10 months to piece together his video. But are you really helping others if the final answer is incorrect? He’d really made further headway grabbing a book or just asking someone that is an electrical engineer to help lead him to his final answer before he shares his answer as a solution.

This is simply a thread about someone building a complex circuit with pedals and sharing how it sounds. You can’t relate circuits in the way that he did and jump to conclusions. There’s math involved and that’s why a performer should just perform before sharing something that’s just plain wrong.

...that bloke Jimmy literally provided you with audio clips which are confiming his 'assumptions'....

are you deaf ?

no amount of selfaugmenting arguments is proving it better than ACTUAL clips that a 'humble' guitar player recorded and you can (or cant) hear it with your own ears !

LISTEN and you will hear....!!!🙏

For the average bedroom noodler this is perfect.

Try telling Eric Johnson that though 😁
believe me friend, Eric Johnson knows that !

also...there ain't no Eric Johnson on this forum !:ROFLMAO:

So we just need some OD, clean boosts, and EQ pedals into a Mesa Satellite amp for all the toanz?

....straw man argument ? ...strong !

then again, music industry itself is serving up 'amplifier based' pedals...plexy, shmeksy, flexy...who knows ???
