I think the boogies are easier to play because of the SAG that they have and also that they seem wet right out of the gate with no effects. The cascading gain stages on the boog have a wet quality to them. Hard to describe but I think you know what I mean lol!

Gotta back my Brother up,... I'm a homo when it comes to what I can an cant play on, if it doesnt have 'hang time' an allow me a light touch for legato stuff, I'm fkd, and can basically pack an go home...  The boog was the 1st amp to let me 'let it breathe'... it's one of the few amps I don't have to Fight to get my shit out there, and one of a VERY select few I can play dry as a fkn bone an not feel 'naked' and alone....    and DEFINITELY thru MC90's......

you and your light touch, play like a man you pussy![/quote]

DIK!!!!!!!!!!      Leave me alone!! I don't have 84 inch forearms like you, Popeye!!!!!
Besides, I prefer NOT to tear the fkn Knobs off my guitars an have the local tech, who HATES you wholehartedly for it, repeatedly REPLACE your broken fkn parts, you Psycho!!!

Well I've owned the SLO, XTC and Mk IV amoung others. All great amps at what they do. I'm thinking the XTC if you want a dark tone. If you want a tighter amp or one with more saturation and unbelieveable sustain... Mk IV.

Mark iv, Baby!!!!! Dat's where I live an breathe!!!!

Damn surprised by the Mark IV love. Fair enough.... any stings to by since I am not familiar? so when I go I can dial something to go by.

BTW I had many Cameron mods loved them. Amazing greasy leads indeed. But felt on low gain stuff the tone wasn't quite there. Great unbelieveable lead amp and also rhyhtm amp for straight up rock though. My first mod was best. Amazing.....

Slaving my Revolution is the coolest thing ever. (Thanks Gainfreak) I played around with it a little, and using the lineout from the head itself works the best for me.
If I were you, I would try this technique with something you already own. I bought a used MosValve for around $160.00, The amount of saturation it adds is unbelievable, my original intent was to have some volume control, I ended up with a whole new sound, it really is incredible.
