Best "feeling" electric guitar you've ever played?

Pretty much anything made by Tom Anderson.

Anderson guitars feel so perfect it's almost like you're reaching right into CAD and playing the mathematical representation of the guitar as opposed to something made of real material. Their neck profiles feel great, they have excellent stainless steel frets and whatever super-fine grain satin finish they put on their necks have as little friction as anything I've played. They kind of do feel like they play themselves.

Suhr also makes great feeling guitars if you find one spec'd the way you like.

IME by far Marchione. It’s like a talent booster. Not even close for anything else I’ve tried. One of my friends especially became a different player when he tried mine. I told him I didn’t know you could play like that and he didn’t either lol. I do like Tao’s a lot too though

I used to be a huge Charvel fan and had this one aged nitro custom shop that was the best playing I tried, my favorite super strat I tried at the time by far, but then I brought it in to this local store with 2 Marchione’s to see if they were legit and from then on I knew I needed one and listed that Charvel for sale lol. Anderson’s and Suhr’s are nowhere near this level imo and tonally sound like just another choked poly finish guitar to me. Same with Mayones, but a bit better IME

I'm still sad that company went under. Yeah they were ugly, but anybody who played one knows just how awesome they were. I remember playing one for the first time and could not believe it. The neck was amazing, and the resonance was unreal. It had higher highs and deeper resonant bass than most other guitars I've played, and the damn thing weighed like 4 lbs.

Unreal.

I bet if they offered another model molded in the silhouette of a strat or some other super strat shape like a Jackson Dinky or whatever, they'd still be in business.

I actually dug the look of the Flys but of course I gravitate towards weird stuff so that makes sense haha


It was the fist time I'd ever tried SS frets and I still think those were the smoothest I've ever played; bending felt like sliding on glass. Like absolutely no resistance

Still regret not buying it
 
The upper horn on the Parker Fly dug right into my sternum so it was definitely not the best feeling guitar I've ever played.

My Edwards ES plays awfully nice with a low buzz free action, slinky feel, and good tone. It is comfortable on the strap and it looks good. The '59-ish neck carve has become a favorite for the stability of a slightly thicker neck and comfort in the hand. Probably a lot nicer guitars out there but I'm thankful for what I do have, not worried about what I don't have. Maybe someday I'll have a USA ESP or something but I don't have 5k right now for a guitar.

That's why I got the Jarretts. The first one played so well I couldn't put it down. I like the neck better on the second one I got. I keep an eye out for Jarrett guitars now.
 
My early 90's Godin Artisan TC. Loved and gigged several years with that axe, until the neck went all wonky on it.

I got in here to say Parker Fly as well. I never owned one but played it at a store and was knocked out at how easy it was to play. Like melted butter.
