Best lead tone i have come across on You tube/ Bogner Shiva

I know. I prefer his Shiva tone (smoother) but the his Metro XTC blue channel tone is fantastic too. Read that it is an exact copy of the XTC`s blue channel btw.
Wonder if the 20th Shiva does produce similar sounds. All of the video`s i have seen from the 20th suck.

Yes, but the rythm tone on the second vid from about 1:40 is unbelievable.

Damn that xtc copy sounds pretty good....but what is a metro xtc blue?

Yes, he sounds really great. Made me really GAS for an XTC when I found these clips. Got a little better when I found out how his Shiva sounds. Not sure if it's in his fingers or if he has some magic ongoing when dialing in or recording. Sounds so much better than me/mine... ;-) He's really great!

where do you live? a couple days ago someone was selling a shiva 2 x 12 combo on san fran craigslist, it had vintage 30s and I believe it just got some new winged c's also? but, the guy is only asking 1200!!!!!!! that is a crazy deal!!

I remember you writing in an earlier post about the blanket in Bogners. Do you prefer other tones over the tones in the video or does your Shiva just not sound like that? If it sounds like the Shiva in the video i would love to hear a clip of an amp that you prefer

That really does sound fantastic. IMO nothing beats a Bogner for playing leads in that style, although I gotta admit, I can't stop thinking about that Demeter preamp+VHT Classic rig that was posted up a few days ago.
