Best lead tone i have come across on You tube/ Bogner Shiva

That really does sound fantastic. IMO nothing beats a Bogner for playing leads in that style, although I gotta admit, I can't stop thinking about that Demeter preamp+VHT Classic rig that was posted up a few days ago.

I find the rythm sound in the second vid from around 1:30 as least as impressive as the lead tone.

this guy alex k also has a bogner xtc metro copy of the blue channel I think he made himself that sounds great.

Here is the video where he compares the Shiva to the Metro XTC blue which is an exact copy of the XTC blue.

Both of those amps sound killer. Never tried a Shiva before. I have owned a Shiva 20th Anny twice, but I just could not bond with it. Sounded too hard/stiff to me. Maybe it was the KT88s. I'd heard the bottom end on the old Shiva's can get messy, but it doesn't sound like it on this clip. I'll have to check one of these amps out. Wonder if the amp in this clip is silver or green chassis.

I had a Shiva a few years back and it had some real nice tones.
