Best load box for low tuned metal sounds?

I have been happy with my Fractal LB-2. That and the Suhr are known to have the most accurate impedance curves, which mimic a Greenback 412.

However, I find it best to run an EQ after the loadbox to fine tune the amp. All my amps always need something.

I believe st rock is back in business and shipping. They’d be my first choice. The react IR is incredible. You can capture your own irs with it too and if you a/b you legitimately can’t tell the difference.

I’ve checked the site on and off for the last year and it always says “Out of stock”, but I’ll keep checking, thanks for the info!

Is the Erik Rutan Dyn IR for the Two Notes software only? How’s the DynIR stuff compared to the other third party cabs?
The Erik rutan is for the software only. So you do your amp di into the software. Honestly I wasn’t impressed with a lot of two notes irs that I’ve tried, but Erik did a great job capturing his cabs.

Tha'ts pretty incredible. I have my early 70's 55hz Marshall cabs I would LOVE to have accurate IR's of. GAS just tripled, thanks!
I know he’s been shipping out his new amperium. So maybe he has the st rock now. Fingers crossed for you I love mine.

I’m quite happy with my Driftwood loadbox; not too bright and captures the 4x12 thump quite nicely. I run it line level into my Fractal device, into some IRs.
