Best Modern Metal Amp ATM??

I like the JMP1 preamp for modern stuff.. stay super tight at down tune and the low-mid voicing is just haunting.

Not the most inspiring preamp at standard tuning... kinda flat then. For some reason I feel it comes to life at lower tuning.
Totally budget friendly also..

Hard to beat a 5150/6505 for metal. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, they go toe to toe with any more expensive amp. Besides, when we're talking about metal, we aren't really talking about tone.

Ola Englund has pretty much demonstrated the importance of recording technique for metal, which seems even more important than the actual amp being recorded.

But for live stuff?
Well what colour is the best for modern painting? Blue, definitely. No Contest
