So far, I've been able to do what I want between the HX FX and a Disaster Area Designs MIDI Baby 3, MC6 or MC8 would be great but my board size is already silly, I'd have to simplify a bit to fit one in.I bought a Morningstar MC8, it arrived a couple days ago. Seems like an awesome unit, connects via usb to the computer and has an awesome editing software that makes programming midi extremely easy. But I haven’t programmed it yet, just watched a ton of YouTube videos on it and messed around with it a bit.
I’ve been building presets in the Timeline, BigSky and Source Audio EQ2 to go along with my H9 presets. Once I have a few fine, I’ll program the MC8 MIDI controller to control them all. Going to be an awesome little project that I’m looking forward to diving into.
The EQ2 is fantastic, I use mine in two different places in signal chain (one in the loop, one in front of the amp). Source Audio customer service & technical support is top notch responsive.
