Best OD for Shiva?

I use a BB Preamp w/Midboost with my 20th Shiva. I dial it in for a clean boost ('Gain' low; 'Volume' high) with a very slight mid-bump. Works great for liquid leads!

You have a 20th Shiva like me. Do you use the built in boost which is amazing?! I use it all the time, but I use the pedal for variety.

I think the Xotic BB MB, is amazing. It is quiet, can be used as a clean boost, used like a tube screamer or overdrive into a clean amp. I consider it a must have for all guitarists.

I do use the 20th Shiva boost all the time. It's basically my volume boost for leads and I guess it adds a little bit of gain too. I use the Xotic in front of the Gain channel on the 20th Shiva to get more sustain and for feedback. The way I dial the pedal, it can also be used in front of the Gain channel, without the amp boost on, for a little more gain. Kind of an in between sound.....

Love it. I have a regular BB, BB+ and a BB Mid Boost. I vastly prefer the Mid Boost over the regular BB, and I LOVE the clean boost in the BB+. I rarely ever use the 'BB' side of the BB+.

The 20th Shiva boost has built in mids and gain boost along with volume. I talked to a few techs at Bogner told me that plus you can hear and feel it. It is one of the best Solo Boost functions I have ever used.

The 20th for me has more gain than I could ever use even for metal. Only time I use an Overdrive is into the clean channel or if I am running the Shiva gain low enough that I need some extra juice for solos.
