Traynor YBA-1 I think it's called?? something like that. They call it the canadian plexi.

Had one, needs tweaks and some changes to get there. Still not as good as a Marshall but workable. Sort of has it's own thing going on just like the rest of us Canadians..but as usual, falls a bit short. ( like Canada does these days)

I say go with a build kit or Ceriatone with the mods mentioned in this thread. Use carbon comp resistors and tweak a few values here or there to squeeze more gain out of the circuit. With the cost of Marshalls or some of these builder's amps, that's your best bet. For you muricans', you could get a Dr.Dan plexi for 3K Canadian which is about the cost of 3 cheeseburgers.

I still think that a 2204 with a few mods with the volume UP and preamp back scratches that Plexi itch perfectly, I might even prefer it if I am honest. James Lugo recently did a clip where he compared his JMP to a Suhn SL68 and his Marshall sounded better.

I've got a Granger M50 Plexi that I like a lot ..... has the X-Gain mod .... hand wired etc ..... I don't play it enough though ..... and have thought about letting it go
