Because of this thread I spent over $500 two days ago on just under 50 feet of Evidence Audio cables. Damn you. :x :wink:
If had I never read this thread I would have continued to be happy with my current cables and not done the research to learn about what higher-end cables can do.

Spending coin on decent cables is very worth it to me. Less noise, better tone, and you probably won't ever have to replace them. 8)

Yeah. No discount though. I talked to Mark at Lavacables. He recommended I go with the Melody cables for my effects loop on the Herbert. He said that the Lyric cables would be probably be overkill. So that saved me about $65. Lyrics/Sirens for everthing else. I also didn't buy loop cables for my Bogner/Engl amps like I had intially planned. I want to buy some other things so I didn't want to blow all my gear $ on just cables. I still may get them after I sell my current cables.

No , first time I've even heard of those, Evidence just came out with a new siren speaker cable right after I just bought mine its suppose to have more mids and high, which would be the only thing I'd change about the siren I have ....well mids anyway. So, looks like I'll have to try that out as well.

P.S. What do you guys like to use for your speaker cab wiring? I saw some stuff on lava cable that looked cool, even an evidence audio cab wiring kit, anyone use one of them before, maybe even the VDH stuff?

I spoke to Tony at Evedence yesterday and ordered up a pair of 15" Siren's because of price, Tony said I would be hard pressed to hear the difference between the Siren and Siren ll. But like everything he is always looking to improve on a designe. More cross section and less skin effect, which does effects the highs. If they work out like I think they will I will be looking into changing ou all my cables.
