I think that record has an underrated tone. I get it, it's kinda like their Black Album. But the tones (and music) rule, IMO.

I fucking hated it at first, but now I love it.

It's obviously more streamlined than their early stuff and less black metal influenced, but it's absolutely killer

For me, the apex of 90's Extreme Metal tone is Carcass - Heartwork. That sizzle. That chunk. Perfect.
