Bias Probes

I like using a multi meter. All of my amps have internal bias pots anyway, so I use the transformer shunt method. I do own a Weber bias rite though.
That’s the same method Splawn uses. You need a fairly decent multimeter to measure the primary OT resistance but once you’ve got that it’s not hard to set things. I prefer bias probe measurement so that I can find the hottest tube as they burn in in real time and watch that one for nominal bias.

Andy Marshall recommend this to me a few years ago. Seems to me all of it was under $70.

I'd like to get a Bis Rite and keep an eye out in case one ever pops up. It would simplify my process.
I use a Eurotubes Bias Pro and this Bias meter I got from Amazon (when it was on sale for like $20) that reads current on 4 tubes. I use the Bias Pro to get voltage from one tube and semi-bias that pair. Then use the other meter where I can see current on all tubes and fully bias everything.

This is the meter I got from Amazon It works well and it pretty spot on compared to readings from the Bias Pro or a multi meter. The Octal pin one looks to be out of stock now though.
