Hi :)

Here is a video of my Bogner Twin Jet playing on a backing track with Joe Bonamassa ;)
I dont have his fingers unfortunatly...
But I made this video to show that the Twin Jet is not just a metal/modern amplifier!
I dont play metal at all but I love this amp (it reacts like an old amp with volume playing)
So this is a stock Twin jet with KT88!
I think it can sounds more "vintage" but of course could make easily modern musics...

Tyler (Gibson les paul at the end) straight to the amp (no pedals, effects are coming from Cubase just reverb and delay on lead, no EQ, no compression,...)
Goldfinger 2x12 cab with scumback m75+g12h!

Thanks for listening!

NIce clip :)

The Uberschalls can all do great gritty blues tone I've found, they're not sparkling Two Rock cleans but will cut some serious mustard in a blues setting. Hell I do David Gilmour covers at gigs with mine and goes down fine.

The Uberschall is definitely not a one trick pony as some might suggest.

Nope. While it does hard rock and metal best, you can really get a myriad of tones by really taking the time to tweak the controls, especially the gain knob and playing with the master and channel volumes.

This was SO tasty - thanks for posting...

I have been guilty of owning a number of Ubers and (for lack of patience) referring to them as one-trick-ponies, but that's not my impression of them. I know with some time spent on the EQ, they are incredible amps. And that being said, there's only ONE amp I've ever regretted selling, and that was my TJ. I loved that amp, and only realized how much I loved it after it was gone.

Such a great amp... And this was a choice post for sure

Wow!! Thank you for posting this. I'm an Ecstasy guy, but that was eye-opening.

Awesome, and great playing as well.

Thanks for your comments

The Twin Jet is a great amp for sûre !
I was about to sell it few weeks ago but its really a keeper amp !
I would have to regret it if I sold it ...
The blue rev uber was great too but not as tight as The twin jet ... I prefer this version...
I love first Channel in this amp !
I will make other vids later with other speakers ( EV, Greenback, V30,...) and cabs

Yep. The Rev Blue was the weakest version of the Uber IMO.

I wouldn't exactly consider revision blue to be a slouch.
Nice tone and playing tonicstud!

No doubt. I just thought the Rev 2 and Twin Jet were bolder, more aggressive iterations.

Great deal on a Twin Jet in the classifides if I say so myself :). Extremely versatile amp!!!

How loud does an Uberschall Twin Jet need to be to do its thing? Could it do it in a basement without hearing damage?

All Uberschalls sound pretty damned good at low volume. Much better than say, a Rectifier.

It's really at low volume...
You can see the settings on the video...
Pics are the settings of the amp!
Master volume is really low

Yep.

But the one thing I LOVED about my TJ was just how well it hung onto its immense low end (Depth) at higher volumes. The thing went nuclear at higher volumes, it was like a claymore to the head. SO big.

Peace,
Mojo

Yeah man. The TJ sounds like it's about to explode once you get it cranked and riff away. Never heard an amp do that...

Definitely. The Twin Jet has such a growl and aggression to it when you really get it cranked. That thing is armageddon. The Rev 2 is pretty ridiculous as well, in a rawer, somewhat more unrefined way.
