Sounds great! I nearly bought a mkIV years ago as an extra amp in the stable. No question they're great amps would like to add one some day.

Sounds great. Yeah the 750 affects the tone greatly. It makes the amp very versatile. The Mark IV is an incredible amp.

Love the tone and Mark IV's. Mine has been my #1 for years and years now. One amp I don't think I'll ever let go.

Sounds great. I have been experimenting with my mark Iva recently. Started running the eq on r2. I also changed from using the switchable loop to the normal loop. The switchable loot always changed the tone when engaged. Switchable loop sounded dull, less highs, the less agressive. Don't notice any of this with the normal loop.

Also tried triode, but went back to pentode. I usually run tweed, class a pentode.

Killer tone! Love Mark series amps. I really dig the B I have but I won't lie, I totally miss my IVa.

I know the difference in layout, what was the difference in sound?

@BrokenFusion: sounds great! Is this the Recto cab?

I find the MK IV changes it's tone extremely depending on the level. Not to say it doesn't sound good at low levels, but depending on the
level the EQ settings have to be set drastically different.

@danyeo: so smooth! sounds freaking perfect! How did you manage such a smooth sound without it sounding dull?

Thanks, it's not a recto cab. It's the widebody 3/4 back with an Eminence Governor in it.

Sounds awesome.. and I am a Marshall guy. I could definitely rock that.. if i wanted more mids, EQ pedal.

No need there are tons of mids in there if you want them! Most people cut them out with the GEQ.

And now I miss my Mark IV again. If only R2 was more like the Lead channel. I just couldn't get a heavy rhythm sound and smooth lead at the same time on the Lead channel.
