Bourbon Street Terrorist Attack

“Ten people were killed and dozens injured early Wednesday when a man intentionally drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans' French Quarter as revelers were celebrating the new year, officials said. New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said the man drove around barricades and hurtled down Bourbon Street in "very intentional behavior" before opening fire on officers.

The driver died after exchanging gunfire with police, the FBI said in a news release. The suspect was apparently shot by law enforcement, according to a law enforcement source.

"This man was trying to run over as many people as he could," said Kirkpatrick, adding that two police officers were hit by gunfire but were in a stable condition. ”
 
The amount of damage on the front end of the truck indicates a pretty high rate of speed when he drove around the barricades.

No wonder the bomb squad was called.
 
I’m seeing the truck came across the southern border a couple of weeks ago.

The United States of America... 50% of our population hates the other 50%, on both sides, and the rest of the world hates us and wants us dead, or thinks we're the stupidest country on earth.... can't wait to see how the next 20 years plays out.
