I’ve got a BG pups Pure90 on its way to go in my N4 with an L500xl. Hopefully it works out.

Sick bro I want clips! I crave Alnico 4 P90 piano tone cleans. Are these A5? The Phat Cat is a bit overwound imo, I wish I could get a tad bit of PRS Dragon II neck HB split tone to it, you know, more of a strat neck wide-open punch.

It doesn’t state what magnet is used. I’ll see what I can do about clips when I get it. I ordered in January and he still isn’t sure when it’s going to ship.

Geez Louise that's kind of lame. 4 months and not even sure what mags are in it? What about the the pickup and maker sold you on this design?

I have some on order from late last year. I don't know about what attracted bkemp23 but the allure is that these are (maybe the only?) legit authentically constructed p90s that fit a humbucker route. Not a version of or a take on a P90, the real deal. They aren't expensive either, it was $90 before tax. They get referenced on humbucker sized P90 threads fairly frequently, have pretty good reviews, and at that price I've just decided to forget that I even ordered them and it'll just be a nice surprise when they arrive.

did a phat cat and a wagner godwood in every guitar forever.

Ever mag swapped the PC? I've got some RC A4's in mine and much prefer them. Might add a polished A5 or get polished A4's...in all truth to me the neck PC needs a 10-15% underwind, like 7K or so.

So this P90 dude in Colorado where the great weed roams is making real neck P90s...I wonder how they compare to the Fralins and Lollars!

I have a Duncan P-Rail in the neck of my kit Les Paul and really like it (except for the noise in single coil modes). I think I need to re-shield the whole thing, though, so maybe that's the real issue.

I am borrowing a friend's LP Jr with a P90 in the neck and SD pearly gates in the bridge. Love the bridge and the both position, but not but finding the neck P90 very dark. I think its a Gibson P90, not sure. I will say the middle position with both pickups is killer, great match.

I have a set of TV Jones Humbucker sized P90s in my Fender MIJ Contemporary Tele, they sound great. Hotter than I expected, they want to rock.

Pretty much this. Thanks @That1Guy.

Does it hum cancel in the middle with both pickups on?

Duncan Custom Custom and Phat Cat in my 70’s Ibanez LP, I dig it..

2006 R6 modified (before I bought it) with a humbucker in the bridge. My #1 guitar. The bridge is a Wolfetone Marshallhead A2. The neck is probably a stock Gibson P-90. It was refinished and aged, supposedly by RS Guitarworks.

Sweet ride bro!

I did it with a single cut prs. i love a p90 neck, and a nice 10-14k alnico 5 'bucker in the bridge. its GREAT IDEA, needs to be embrased by more people.

Finally got to check, yes middle position hums, no difference between the neck only p90 and the middle position as far as hum.

That may be where two p90s would have the advantage, is if you went with a set where one is rwrp. The tv Jones p90s I have are this way and it’s nice to have a hum canceling position. I thought about having the switch on that guitar be for series/parallel of the p90s, but guess series p90s would be mudd city, so I made it a phase switch.
