Use a 1 meg audio pot.
To add to the original post: you can also add a capacitor to the pot to focus in on the sub-lows. You can use a .001 cap up to a .006 (VHT uses the .006). The closer you get to .006, the more sub-lows you bring in. I personally like to add a push pull 1 meg pot and throw a .001 across it and put a .002 on the switch so when it is pulled, you get .003. Keep in mind, the smaller you get with caps (toward .006) the more volume cut you will perceive.
This is not limited to the Bugera, this can be done to Marshall amps and many others as well. You can add it to any of Friedmans amps as well. It just adds to the versatility.
