do they haggle a bit like Sweetwater? or are there any other good coupons/tips/etc?

I am getting a Suhr RLIR and see it from the same price ($599) everywhere.

the only reason I chose CME is that they are one of the larger Suhr dealers I saw and they had free shipping and looked the most legit and have a good return policy.

I don't know about haggling there but I have both been there and ordered from them and they were great both times.

Me too. And, they will haggle, if you message them through Reverb. I got some deals.

so you are recommending to buy from them through reverb as opposed to their website? are their policy's the same?

should I casually make lower offer and just stick?

I bought a used Les Paul Custom from their Reverb store about a year ago. Made them them an offer and they countered with lower than list price that was fair. They're good people to deal with, they've actually bought gear from me on Reverb and were easy to negotiate with.

I’m local. They haggle but they aren’t stupid. CME ownership started Reverb then sold it, but I think a lot of their back end systems may be the same, which may make Reverb easier for them (assuming all divestiture and carve out activities are complete).

fwiw CME and Reverb HQ are (or were) right across the street from each other, and most Reverb demos are done by CME staff.
