For those of you with multiple amps/cabs/FX situations, what is your cable management solution for not creating a spaghetti monster and also maintaining flexibility/serviceability?

Without fail I always end up with a spaghetti monster and would love to clean things up as I’m about to redo everything…

How does the floor cover stay put? Sticky or just heavy enough to hold the cables in place?
Looks like a sticky....there are more industrial types, from uline...and those are heavier and don't have sticky....but they are very expensive.

When I ran two amps with;

Channel switching main amp with footswichable reverb

RPM Mini-Amp Gizmo for the amp functions

And a pedal board that had pedals going into the front end of the main amp using its loop into stereo pedals to split the signal between the returns on both amps...

I would zip tie together all the leads going to the master amp, and treat it as one big cable.

All the leads were labled with tape and a Sharpie. I used George L's for the FX loop send and returns to keep the combined thickness to a minimum. I would keep everything plugged into the board at all times, and when packing everything up would unplug from the amp, roll the 25'ish cable snake up, and place it ontop of the pedal board in its case. Tbt it was a breeze to load and unload.

Cable snakes and color coding connections. I run 4CM to two different amps, and my bassist could set it up if he had to. Red to red, blue to blue, etc.

My cabling is a mess too, once in a while the cable from my guitar to the OD on top of my amp gets a little twisted. :LOL:

My engl has three TRS jacks for footswitchable stuff, so that along with my FX loop lead run and the instrument cable are going to be a massive pain in the dick. I probably am going to have to get something custom done

Just get a clip on tuner and be done with it. :LOL:

My signature ESP will have a James Tyler headstock with a permanently affixed clip on tuner. Headstock gonorrhea. :LOL:

Oh my god, I think I threw up in my mouth :hys:

Those tylers are amazing playing guitars - the craftsmanship is out of this world. I think easily on the level and maybe better than Tom Anderson or Suhr.

But that headstock man, JFC it's so bad

Especially for THAT kind of dosh, you can't come up with a nicer looking headstock?

TBH I think the Suhr is uglier cause it reminds me of a kit guitar build. Looks like a hungover Ibanez employee cranked it out.
