CAE MC404 Wah factory trim pot settings

Been so busy with life I have not played much.

I intend to spend more time with the internal trim pots. But feel at this point there is several good combinations. Just fine tuning it for my preferences.

Come up with something lemme know. I hardly play any and hardly use my wah….lol. But I do really like this thing. My problem is I got used to the Morley and I still catch myself forgetting to hit the button….😜 if this thing was switchless it would be perfect for me.

Basically if you like it I would not change it. The trim pots are fairly sensitive. The gain can go into oscillation. The q if set very low is almost like a volume pedal. As you turn it up you get more quack. I usually prefer a lower setting.

I think part of the reason these are not external is because it is easy to get out of what I see a normal usable range.

Make sure you take a photo and mark it so easy to get back to where you started. Do small changes. But worth checking it out. More of a fine tunning for me.

I spent about 4 hours last night messing with the internal trim pots on the CAE MC404 again last night.
I think I need to hook up a few more guitars, amps and cabs with it. I got my Mesa Tremoverb back from a friend Friday night. That and a few of my NMV amps.
