I think the Cl-80s and very balanced. I don't hear annoying mids at all. I also don't find annoying mids at all with EL34s or E34Ls.

Post this in the wrong forum or thread perhaps? I know I'm confused. Anyone else know what this post is about?

I know, sometimes the Babesiois, Lyme disease and MGUS mess with my brain....but I try.

Hey man..I resemble those remarks man!!! hahahaha.

I'm all for beta testing anything man. I love speakers!!! I at one time had about 48 speakers in my basement doing side by side testing and such. So yeah...I'm a speaker slut. But I'm more of a Scumback speaker slut now. That's all I own now.

It was definitely a long and colorful tale!!! Hey...you could give it to the FBI as punishment for ppl that won't talk. Call it the new "chinese water torture" test!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA...just kidding man. It was rather humorous. Definitely was damn funny!
