I had one that was both a Jose and Aldrich and a clean channel

Yeah I remember my buddy's Aldrich had strange EQ settings. That amp smokes though man. That is my dream amp and I haven't heard anything that captures my ideal tone like an Aldrich.
 
Here's a grogy 1st thing this am before my dogs pounced in the living room clip.
Straight in (Def still tweaking) with 2003 PRS McCarty.
Will be trying to setup better for future recordings.
This was on my galaxy s20+ sitting on edge of my couch. Obviously, I don't record much 😉
The Amp you can see is actually my 93 Monomyth.

And I am a hobbyist hack so fuck off. I know I'm not worthy of my gear.

There was one lower gain Jose amp that was the real deal.
I believe Mark had EVH in mind as it’s more on that level.
What made the amp so killer was it cleaned up at the guitar pots extremely well and had loads of
‘in-betweeners’.
Sounded so f’n good man.
There was a clip of a dude EVH’ing out on it somewhere.
 
The recording is fine. Playing also. Translates the punch/articulation/clarity well. What pickups tubes and speakers ?
More clips welcome if your inclined.

Thank you. More coming in future for sure. That was actually a quick test as I just don't record. Sounded good so I posted.

Look like stock Marshall power tubes (lettering faded). Tung-Sol v1 and v2 and JJ in v3 I think.
65 creambacks up top, V30s on bottom.
Stock McCarty Pickups. Using my PS100 as it's LAF.
PS100 warm and bright switches in middle.
Presence and depth all the way down to 0.

Dude that sounds awesome!! Not a crappy clip at all and sounds killer. PRS is fine bit man, if you have a Les Paul with some custom pickups, that would be the icing on the cake to me.

Every Cameron had that growl/grind that just sits in the EQ perfectly.

I've got a 2018 LP tribute with stock 498t.
Havent plugged the Jackson USA sl2 yet.
Will use different guitars next vids.
Will also demo the Monomyths too at some point.
They're pretty different then the Cameron.

I like the 498T over the 500T. The mids are more aggressive and it doesn’t sound hollow and cold like the 500T. I’m putting a 498T/496R setup in my wine red Les Paul as we speak. I just ordered nickel pole screws to replace the gold ones that are in them now.

Those and the 57 classics are my fav Gibson pickups.

I love the fact you rock what you love and aren’t following the latest trends.

I love my Laney. Cheapest amp I own and it slays. Even my 6505MH cost more.

If I was pushing some solid state Marshall MG series as the the best amp ever, I'd probably deserve some flak, but as we speak I'm watching the Taylor Hawkins Tribute and see a couple Friedmans on stage, sounding great. They can't be too terrible.
