heres the info he has some personal and business issues that he is working hard to resolve. What more do you need?

I don't think personal issues are an excuse for poor business practices.

Is it ok for a doctor to make a mistake and injure a patient because they have a drug problem?

Would you not be upset when the mechanic who's shooting heroin ruins your transmission or doesn't return your car at all?

lame examples I know; but there is NO excuse for taking someones money/amp and returning no messages/phone calls etc... that is akin to theft whatever the "good excuse" may be.

how hard could he be working on his business issues if people still don't even get responses from him or an associate. one full day/week spent making phone calls could calm many customers I'm sure, at least make them feel like he even cares.

Wake up and face the facts.....
Other than that he is an OK guy

I feel bad for what i posted..... Although it is true...not my place to do so..so I deleted it...He has enough problems...I don't need to add more....
Hope Mark can pull things together.... Best of luck to him....

Marko

Welcome to the forum Marko ..... :)

If this is the case ..... I have seen people change (if they want that) many times. From all the stuff implied it would take a lot to get the company moving forward. In the current economy it wold take even more. .... I wish him luck what ever the problem is.

That would be great for many of these guys, maybe he won't have to pull out anymore.

the creampie mod! :emofag: :grim:

I have no horse in this race either, but seeing anyone trainwrecking is not something I enjoy watching (well, aside from a few politicians and dictators, etc. so long as they don't bring innocent people down with them).

From what I can gather, he is clearly gifted in creating great amps. I'm hoping he can get it together. Mark, if you're reading this, I echo what Stephen said. Put me on the side of looking forward to you getting back to business creating great tone machines, however long it takes.

Hope - pass it on.

well- case study: i spoke to his ex (lynn?) once when he had her call me to spew more of his excuses FOR him.
a few wks later they'd "broken up".

and about a yr after i had to call just about every day to get my amp back, finished or not.

so so i don't know about mark pulling out but i know for a fact, his ex's "pull out"... pull out of being associated with him. oh snap! i went there!

i managed to eventually get my amp back before all the ccv cameron amplification nonsense started.
should i even mention that i sent some nice high quality components for him to use in my amp mod?
he not only didn't use them, but NEVER RETURNED them.

CLASS.

its nice that a fellow amp builder is coming to his defense but HE and HE ALONE is responsible for the monster that has become his reputation.

many orders unfulfilled.

and for all the lies he weaved, he told me HIMSELF on the telephone: the launch of cameron amps was more important than all the mods he had sitting in his shop and that cameron amplification would be built on the bones of those uncompleted mod agreements.

finally the truth. warts and all.

call me a "gossip type" if you will. i struggled w the guy and his bs to get my amp back and know a few others who waited YEARS to get their mod'd amps back.

and i watched all these newbies jump on anyone who was lamenting about their ordeals with mark cameron, flame them; only to eventually join the party when they didn't get their ccv. did they EVER?!

all for modded amps that sound like jcm's boosted by an sd-1. wow. a mind blower.

mark, let us know how the back of lee jackson's head looks on the unemployment line.

I was the guy that bought that amp off deluxemeat.
It sounded pretty good. Not as good as some of the High gain mods I hear on this site.
But pretty good.
And then the HONEYMOON wore off....... :D
Like all my other amps......
It was soon sold.......
I bought it mostly since it was used by Lynch on tour.
