don't know the answer to your question?

but if you search, you'll find that there is plans of releasing the deferent mods in the future as allready built turn key amps.

He should do some mods, since he is under close supervision from the TM Trio, it would be less risky and I am sure Mark could use the money. I tried, but he flaked out. Sitting around waiting on chassis for the CCV, he could be making some very serious coin right now.

So true. My guess would be that he and company have a contract. He is probably not permitted to put any amps/mods out on his own now. Not to mention, it would be a serious conflict of interest with the Friedman mods. Probably not enough in mods for all to split as well, or he feels why should he do all the work for only a scrap.

Don't know. I bet he would get commitments to mod 50 Marshall's before he could sell 50 CCV's - as long as the work and delivery could be guaranteed.

Easily. But since he is not accessable that would be 50 or less mods going to Dave that he wouldn't have gotten otherwise if Mark was doing them. No?

I do not think it is related so closely--- I still want Friedmans work regardless of who is doing whatever__ and they are not the same sound etc. just saying...

I will move on and have Rockstah amps perform a mod5 or purchase one of his amps, excellant for early Van halen probably one of the best.

What sort of Cameron mod are you looking for?

A good Jose mod that will achieve the van halen 1 sound. My VHT/Fryette Deliverance D60H is doing a good job at achieveing that sound but Im looking for another amp in my arsenal.

The Mod 5 will do a better VH tone than the Jose will.

Suhr handwired SL68 dimed and a Faustine Phantom if you need to bring it down a bit.

The mod 5 is the way to go.The suhr 68 dimed will not achieve that sound.

This might have worked with Steve?

I seriously doubt Dave would give a damn, one way or the other. He's got enough backlog to take him to retirement as it is - with the amp lines/mods/professional rack & rig work.

Just buy the CCV.

CCV = his Jose.

Just to open the can of worms a little more Scott (in a good way)

I don't know for sure if the CCV = Jose Mod. The Cameron Jose that I have doesn't sound anything like the two CCV's I have owned in the past. Even with the mod being a Marshall circuit, and the CCV built from the ground up - I don't recall much in similarity, except there's a hell of a lot of micro-switches. I sort of wish I had the CCV here to compare, but based on what I remember, they are nothing alike. Of course, rarely are two of Mark's amps ever alike, anyway.

Then again, I don't know what a real "Jose" from the late Jose was supposed to sound like.

Our plan is to have Mark do a golden sample of all of his mods...

High Gain Jose
Aldrich
Ocean

We will then spec and blueprint the mod and circuit exactly has Mark builds it and offer them for sale in a Metro Kit Marshall head. Once we get past the mountain of building the CCV's this project is on our radar. We want things to be available with no drama and think this is the best way to go to get Marks mods out to the world in a reliable fashion.
