Well, that settles it...NO!

say hello to my little friend.

arts and crafted by fcs production manager and all around apex level baddass, javier cuba.

Interesting!

Can anyone tell why Tele pickups are usually angled? The design choice intrigues me, especially for an old school guitar.

Just a design choice by Leo Fender, helps get a more balanced tone.

Odds are he first wound the pickup to the best of his ability at the time, felt it was unbalanced, so then started angling it to get it brighter/darker.

Because the original Tele pup came off the fender lapsteel, and it didn’t fit the tele so he turned it till it did fit.

Those are interesting guitars. Found out they're made by a company called Raines, and have Bareknuckle pickups in them.

Would you consider a Telecaster with humbuckers a Telecaster though?

For example, a Fender Stratocaster body with a humbucker would be a "Superstrat" and not a normal Stratocaster.

So would these be "SuperTeles" and not Telecasters?

Also, the bridge seems to be very different from the ones used on regular Teles, which I was reading contribute to the sound in some ways.

Did some riffing on the neck pickup of my Tele into my QC. Assuming you can call it that because it's a humbucker, of course.

I love Wintersun and Far Beyoned The Sun is one of my favorite metal songs, but I wouldn’t have guessed it was a Tele if I didn’t already know. There’s another video of him at an expo playing that song on a humbucker guitar where I think he sounds better. I love the song and that band, but I’m not sure if it’s the best example of where Tele’s excel in metal

My friend Martin Headlining at MD. Deathfest with his band Pungent Stench a number of years ago:

These are Wirebird guitars.

I mean there are teles with humbuckers, no? I’m no big expert it teles.

Actually anything not superstrat rarely interests me.

Black cat od-1 changes the sound of a single coil pickup like a humbucker. It is expected to work on telecasters as well.
