So I also bought this one (and the Brit Green) without knowing what speakers are inside.Sylvain Briat":37z295g9 said:I'm not really sure about the speakers of the BritFrizz. It seems to be four G12T-75 but I'm not sure.

first of all you have to update Torpedo Remote and/or WoSIII to the latest version. And secondly we have to fix a little something on the database to make that new cabinet work (we didn't have 1x10 before that one, as stupid as it may sound, it's a big deal^^).
Should be ready on next Tuesday, once the Musikmesse preparation rush is behind us, thank you for your patience.

I have just update WoSIII to the latest version, giving to me the silver10.
But it's still a test version link to our account to validate our capture.
So sorry and thanks for the patience.
There's a good news, we have other 1x10 to capture and everything will be ready to !

-> djd100 we are looking to capture a vintage Super Reverb (a Blackface one) for our second batch !!!!!!
If you love vintage Vox tone (in this case your a good man ), you definitively have to try our VoiceT60 capture.
Vox T-60 is a bass cab but it sound huge on guitar amps.
Used by Paul Mc Cartney, Bill Wyman etc... etc...
This cab is usually loaded with a 12" and a 15" speaker.
The one we use at Le Mirador is loaded with two 15" HH vintage speakers made in UK.
Whatever, to me is one our of best capture in our first batch!
Unfortunetely, it is not possible to affect a cab to both categorys (guitar and bass).
We decided to choose bass,
but trust me it rocks on guitar sound, a quick preview via la boutique will probably convince you! :

... ... Recognize some of them?
Sylvain Briat":25hp6i4r said:We do a lot af mic test. Especially, we try a lot of polarity pattern.
Our main room sound very musical and open, so we want to capture the speakers signature and the room sound. ;-)
The purpose is to open the two notes world at room ambience miking.
In the picture you've posted
AKG c414 omni, U47 tube omni, U87 vintage omni, but also Shoeps cmc5 (omni or cardio), Shure ksm141 (omni or cardio), and our AEA 92 (ribbon 8 fig)... and a Royer 121.
We finally choose to promote small condenser mic Shoeps cmc5 and Shure ksm141, both in cardio and omni mode.
They sound great and really gives a new dimension to sounds you can create with a torpedo our the WOS III.
We believe that a shure sm57 sound great near a speaker but we are convinced that a Shoeps cmc5 at 2 meters for example offer new possibilities.
So, there's the mic list we choose for BritGreen2, hope you'll enjoy it!
Famous world reference: Royer121 and vintage Neumann U87
lovely outsider: Sony c37A tube and BeyerDynamic m380 (huge bass)
small condensers cardioid: Shure ksm141 and Shoeps cmc5 , sounds great near and also far giving you a focused room sound.
small condensers omni: Shure ksm141 and Shoeps cmc5 , sounds great near and also far giving you a lot of different room sound. As good as being in the room !
