I'm voting diezel AND revv lol. I have never found a diezel tone that I like. Both from playing them or hearing them recorded

Haven't played a VH2 or an Einstein. Those are on my list but the VH4 and Herbert just felt really lacking under my fingers. Absolutely hated the sizzle/fizz dogshit in the VH4 and I love rectos lol.I loved the vh2. I really would like to try big max.
You forgot to add those Ground Zero Amp Works amps and all of his mods to the list......that guy ruins every amp he touches.
I kid I kid.....You're wrong and that's okay. Those amps are killer.
Man, I still need to play a Gower.I kid I kid.....View attachment 354203
I am sure they are good. But i hated the one i played. Probably just because it was a jose. Dark, fizzy and quietMan, I still need to play a Gower.
Yeah I had a Gower Rockmonster and KK++. Pretty good (great cleans on the KK++), but imho overrated. For the kind of sound it had I felt the Cameron mods I had at the time (didn’t keep them) sounded a lot better when AB’ed and the Helios I had at the time could get surprisingly close to the Rockmonster when AB’ed, just brighter than the Rockmonster. The KK++ could get tighter than the Cameron mods I had, but some of my other amps could get even a bit tighter, so couldn’t justify keepingI am sure they are good. But i hated the one i played. Man, I like my wizards a lot but the mids on them and VHTs can sit weird in a band mix.FWIW I saw Judas Priest recently and Andy Sneap had a better tone with his Grower Marshall’s than Ritchie Faulkner had with his Wizard MCII IMO. Ritchie’s tone was still good (drop the chorus FX on the rhythm tone already!) but Andy’s tone had more Marshall bite.
Agreed, some of the biggest heavy hitters of this category are still missing: Omega, Driftwood and KSR. And EVH’s to me sound more like plastic than cardboardWe need a lot more amps added to the poll.
It's important that every one of these cardboard boxes are exposed.
That what I was thinking. EVH isn't cardboard box.Agreed, some of the biggest heavy hitters of this category are still missing: Omega, Driftwood and KSR. And EVH’s to me sound more like plastic than cardboard
I will update, but i wont take EVH down because people voted for itAgreed, some of the biggest heavy hitters of this category are still missing: Omega, Driftwood and KSR. And EVH’s to me sound more like plastic than cardboard
Here a tight full no cardboard Diezel tone . I find people really just don’t understand them . Or just wasn’t a Marshall sounding ampI'm voting diezel AND revv lol. I have never found a diezel tone that I like. Both from playing them or hearing them recorded
