I've had the Carsten Grace amp for a little while now and have been really digging it. I finally broke down and grabbed the matching 2x12 cab with the Weber Ceramic Blue Dog 100w and Celestion Alnico Cream speakers. That amp really does sound great with that cab & speakers.

Here's a quick clip I made when I was first messing with blending the speakers under a mic. Please excuse the generic riff and stock drum loop haha as I was simply experimenting with the tone. The amp is boosted with an 808 style boost. Each speaker is mic'd with an SM57 and they're blended 50/50 in the daw with no post processing.

Edit #2: Still can't figure out the stupid embed lol

Welp - just bought one of these.

I absolutely love single channels with huge gain sweeps. This amp kind of seems like a higher gain version of the Dr. Z CAZ45 which I came close to pulling the trigger on multiple times.

Nice! I’m not familiar with the Dr Z, but yeah the Grace has a huge gain sweep. You can really take advantage of it using the guitar’s volume and having the headroom set halfway or lower.

Sounds great! Brian makes killer amps. The Grace has so many sounds packed into that single channel. It’s a hard amp to make sound bad with the matching cab.

It sounds great with my other cabs too, but the matching cab is overall my favorite. However, now it has me wondering what a 4x12 must sound like with those speakers and the Grace hahaha.
