I like the music a lot, but I could do without the preachy vegan and "world is gonna end in 5 years due to climate change" themes/lyrics. lol

It was 20 years according to the Al Gore movie they made us watch over and over when I worked at my towns conversation department back in the day, it was a big joke a couple years ago when the 20 year doomsday clock ran out and our coastal town was still above water only now with multi million dollar mansions on the beach instead of the beach shacks like I grew up in.

No this was in CT, I think it was us, them and Arsis if I remember correct. Must have been 2006
It’s was cattle Decapitated, hate eternal , and macabre and deeds of flesh the day we played

That’s a sweet show, I think ours was them, Arsis and a few others but I can’t even remember, there were so many shows and so much going on here in the mid 00s

Love Cattle Decap. Definitely have the new record on pre-order. This band just gets better with time and each release.

I was doing the same . Mostly Detroit Cleveland and Chicago. Fun times

Who's the Einstein that came up with Cattle Decapitation and everybody said "THATS IT , IT'S PERFECT" !!!
I’ve often heard band names that made me think the same thing.

Great band. Anthropocene is probably my favorite work of theirs. Very innovative within that realm. Very charismatic live. Bring back the plague!

Loved the song!

I do think that guitar looks horrible, though. LOL.

Used to share that opinion on his guitar but it’s grown on me. Cardinal Instruments loaded with Suhr Aldrich’s I believe. Josh is a killer guitarist.

Consistently great band. They're getting pretty far from grind these days though, but that's a pretty natural evolution.

Cool video. Wish I knew what the fuck he is saying.
It's mostly veganism/environmental/social themes. Animal uprising and treating humans as we treat them was the big joke of their lyrics for a long time.

Glad I couldn’t understand it then

It’s not really coming from the preachy-vegan POV, though, much more like a fantasy/horror framing.

While I can’t fucking stand vegan activists (my ex-wife was one and my house was filled with them regularly), after visiting some slaughterhouses a few years back I started buying whatever meat I eat from a local butcher. I can’t participate in the factory farming shit anymore. The Smithfield plant in NC has got to be the closest thing resembling hell on earth. You get within 3 miles of it and all you can smell is piss, shit, blood and burning hair. Then you see the pigs they bring in there to slaughter and 1/4 of them are either dead, dying or have wounds/infections all over their body from fighting with other pigs. No fuckin’ thanks.

Not too familiar with this band (have known the name but not their music) but came across this after seeing some in studio vids that were kind of cool and dig this quite a bit. Some good versatility in the arena of a grind core style vocal and the band just cooks.

You ever go “ Cow Tippin’”, though?
A experience no one should miss.

I am little late in getting around to these guys, could I get a suggestion for a good album to start with?
