high output pickup with an amp that has loads of gain?? i don't get it, can you post the clip of using the guitar volume knob to roll off and get a decent clean sound with note clarity? or god forbid somebody play a camerom with single coils so i can hear the clear distinction. that just sounds like way too much mud for my taste. I guess its what the sound ur after though so thats cool for u. I'm not a big fan of Aldrich over saturated preamp tone anyway, so maybe thats why im not diggin the vibe here.
