Congrats Steve, I bet that is a bad ass amp!! Should sound great ran in a dual amp setup with a SLO!!

I don't know. Me thinks the CCV would be competing for too much of the same sonic space run together with the SLO. The SLO/Kitchen Sink combination is going to be hard to beat. That is the sexiest tone that I have played and heard yet out of everything I have had. But, to be sure, the combination will be checked out in full.

The purple SLO I bought off of Jim is here. Took it out of the box but haven't played it yet. Curious of how two SLO's, one on crunch and one on OD will go together. This Kitchen Sink (BE/HBE/JBE) that Friedman made for me is just shit hot though and a very cool amp, even stand alone. Two amps just sound better than one.

Will give the new and improved CCV a whirl though when it gets here.

The Purple Proto landed in TN. It is now on its way over the pond. Going to be an interesting shootout with the SLO's and the Kitchen Sink.

would be cool to see a clip of u comparing the ccv, friedman, and slo seperate and then blending them. Jealous again!

I will definitely be doing that. I don't mind setting up and experimenting in the cave, but I am all about simplicity when playing live without tap dancing on a pedalboard.

Jeez.........what a beast. Had about 30 minutes to set it up. Gonna give it a go at practice tonight. No time for clips but will throw some on tomorrow.

Noise floor is in the basement. Running thru 2-Bogner 412's with M/H Scums. This thing is just plain bad ass in tone, gain and cool factor. Purple shell, tarnished chassis, hand-written front/back functions. If the production models are this good - then this will be the amp to kick the others back in the closet. The bottom end on this amp is gut-wrenching.
