The Low Gain comments crack me up. I never think of it as being low gain but I guess I use less gain than most guys. That said I turned it up a bit on Channel 2.
Low gain is really the only way to describe it compared to most of the CCV clips. That amount of gain is RIGHT where I like it. It makes all the notes really articulate.Ampaddict":2b8v302s said:The Low Gain comments crack me up. I never think of it as being low gain but I guess I use less gain than most guys. In one of my clips I had the amp set for low gain and every one laughed...the really funny thing is that i had it set to have as much gain as a stock JCM800, yet on the video clip it had a TON of gain. All of my other clips I may be using the highest clipping, but the gain knobs are around 1 o'clock...so there is actually more in itAmpaddict":25xlajom said:The Low Gain comments crack me up. Lately I set the CCV to sound like my stock Marshall SL's but with a little more bottom end.

I've had comments that my Camerons sound clean out front while on stage they sound and feel very gainy. My Hotrodded Marshalls are set pretty gainy too. I like that they still retain the tighness on the bottom end. Thats a MUST for me.psychodave":nrn0dd6l said:The amp records gain in an interesting way.
