Celestion G12H 75 Creamback. Is it me? Do people like these speakers?

I miss the 65's... had them in a cab a few years back I shouldn't have sold... love my Alnico Creams... the samples/songs I've heard with the 75's always sound like a combo of the 65 and Alnico Creams. It's a speaker I've thought about a few times. Perhaps I should take the leap...

I have a Bogner cab that came with GB/V30 and now's it's 2 GB/Hempback/V30... thought I'd do two Hempbacks/GB, but keep thinking about the Creambacks... 65 or 75... more research... I know Zilla does a lot of speaker combo vids, so I'll search out the GB/75...

Thanks OP for getting me thinking more on this!

Well OP

I would say it's pretty clear you don't like creambacks

I used to like them before I heard rezas demos, now, like you, Im not into them either
I used to like everything until I hear Reza’s demo!!

might just be the cab and not the speakers Carl. Stuff some insulation in there and see if that helps.

The next stop for that cab is my garage. I'll stick with it until Marshalls start shipping, or go w/ the Friedman 4x12, which I think would be the best choice.

I love them mixed with v30.
I have 2 2x12 bluesbreaker cabs with them.

I have one in a Mojotone slammin cab. It sounds great, but I try to stand on the side as the angle of the cab makes it piercing. I always assumed it was the cab but now I don't know what I know

I have a cab that used to have h75 creambacks with redbacks and it was my favorite cab- I just swapped in JBL k120s instead of the creambacks but haven’t gotten to test them yet due to a wire issue I ran across

I'm a big fan of the M65 Creamback, but didn't care a ton for the H75. Seem to be in the minority here though, cause most people I've seen are the opposite 🤷‍♂️ I have a WGS ET65 (M65) in my Iconic 40 Combo and it kills with that amp. Also have one in my PRS 1x12. I found it sits really well by itself, the H75 needed to be mixed.
