I think for a lot of the '94 gigs he was still using the Bill Lawrence

Never used an invader live. Dookie and insomniac were the BL 500XL. Had a white JB in at Woodstock and went back to a BL the rest of Dookie tour. He switched to the JB full time in 95-96. JB sounds a lot better through that circuit than the BL though.
 
I've always been impressed by the tone on these performances on SNL in 94

Good job man I dig that sound. Not a big Greenday fan but do admire some the sounds.
 
Also not a Green Day fan, but that tone is fantastic. I'm almost tempted to do a build and add that mod now.
 
Nice work @EddyLenz, sound great man.

We currently have a Golub / Dookie Plexi on loan in the studio actually. Fun amp, plenty of gain but still old-school vibes.
