Eliminate some other pedals. 3 pedals in 1 here. Its actually smaller than 3 pedals side by side, so that can work.Good news is there's room for 12 more knobs.
But does it chug?HV boost is strictly high voltage fet, so no op amps, the grind channel and preamp run RC4558, MC1458 and LM386.
Had it on the workshop bench for over 8 years, and finally got it into a commercial form. labor of love. it rocks. Does it chug, YES IT DOES!But does it chug?
Jk, looks cool. How long did you have it in development? Congrats if it is new or whenever you got it out. Pete always makes the best demos.
Tech-nerd question: Have you tried NE5532P's or OPA2134's in the place of the first two? Not sure if these would give you the wanted audio response for guitar, or if they're just too clean and hi-fi.HV boost is strictly high voltage fet, so no op amps, the grind channel and preamp run RC4558, MC1458 and LM386.
Yeah i found those actually a bit HiFi. You are right. It was just the right sweet spot with the ones i have used. Tried some that were too gritty and not clear, and some that were quite flat, cant remember all of them now. Went through a number.Tech-nerd question: Have you tried NE5532P's or OPA2134's in the place of the first two? Gotcha, it's one of the reasons I actually used the NE5532P's in a Boss GE-7 silent mod. Brought the noise-floor down considerably.Yeah i found those actually a bit HiFi.
"Take it from me, I am the most humble guy you will ever meet".Sums it up nicely.
