I agree and feel like the brand name will be reduced to nothing but MIC flea market amps. It's a shame someone else can't step in and save one of the most influential brands in R&R music
It's had it's time. And you're still gonna see it on backlines for years to come, it really hasn't losts it's name with the general public.

Players like us on message boards etc... we make up a small percentage. But yeah as a company pushing things forward, that time is done and over. I mean when they let guys like Santiago and other designers go years ago when they had alot of amps getting ready to be released, things that are now 10-12 year later finally seeing the light was probably the warning sign.

What's hilarious is me - I grew up on Marshalls and then I went through 20 years of avoiding them because I wanted to be original only to come back to Marshall and never be happier with my tone. I let go of alot of great stuff by them that I wished I still had lol. Crazy.

I get it. For years I wanted be a Mesa guy. I was for a while and enjoyed them but finally figued out that Marshall or Marshall based tones are best for my playing style.

I’m not even interested in anything Marshall is offering. The Friedman Jose and Fortin synergy module stole the show this year. Both should be proud of their designs - they sound sick
Sure did! Both were phenomenal. That Fortin is going to sell like fucking gangbusters.

Everyone was very upset when he stopped doing mods. Now people can see how in demand his work was back in the day. This module is proof - his amps were great ?

And no he didn’t go tearing out everything for PTP - he added and did what he needed and the work was immaculately done.

Man I hope Mine gets back in the game personally. People can say what they will just he and I have always gotten on pretty well and I dig the sounds his amps put out.

Mike is good people - we’ve spoken on the phone before in the past and I admire the guy. However I find his amps to be too soft for my tastes. The aggressiveness in the KK++ is all Gower IMO. The Bones I played was easy to play but not aggressive at all.

I’m about to release something soon though that will shake things up

You build?

They bought a lifestyle brand

Literally praying that they'll just boost their lifestyle brands to the point they can just drop the price of the amps to crash the non boutique market, operating at a loss for a while.

It would be very funny to see.
