Seems to be the std 59 just about with it being the only option, the thin C thing is a typo one of the dealers said.

JTG MK1 neck specs are
STD 59 neck 1st fret .850 12th fret .980

James Tyler USA Standard 59 neck:
.845” AT 1ST FRET .975” AT 12TH FRET

Not for me but I also don’t have a gofundme account either….maybe I should start one so I can get multiple ugly as fuck overpriced Chinese guitars…. Not a good look… especially when I donated money I didn’t really have to spare…and here we are… you don’t owe anyone any explanation but like I said before…not a good look at all. One month folks are donating and a month or so later here you are posting this… I’m probably not being a good Christian but this is really hitting me in the wrong spot…
 
I like the finish. Is it just me or is $1800 for a Chinese made guitar crazy? Has the price of labour skyrocketed over there?

Well let's see...I literally have not spent a penny of the GFM on gear.
Im buying my old Tyler back on payments, the Japanese one is a loaner, and pretty much any of the gear I got was donated.

Fwiw, in addition to the GFM money I added 8000 to my debt.
So no I'm not tossing money around for gear like a drunken sailor.

It's a bit spendy but some of the inspired by Gibson Epiphone line are 1299 and up. Everything is basically 30 percent more money than it was five years ago.

Glad to hear but like I said you don’t need to explain anything.
 
I mean Epiphones are pretty damn good now and never been so good, Made in China and above 1000$-1200$ some of them. And these things are better than MIA Gibsons even that cost 2500-3000$.


Got my Epi 59 before transition to Gibson Headstock for under 800$ with hardcase and same deal and Made in China.


Eastman same thing for some and MIC and they make guitars that cost as much as these Tylers. For some it doesn't matter the cost or where it's made if the quality is there.

Agreed. The last ten years, and especially the last five, has seen Epiphone turning out some pretty sweet guitars. A lot of times the electronics are junk but if the guitar plays nice it's worth the dough to swap. I swap pickups in my more expensive guitars too so what's a few pots and a decent selector switch if you like the axe?

Quality is definitely there. Every time I walk into a store I 100% of the time prefer squier tele’s over American fenders. However, you still got guitars being made in China with dirt cheap labour being sold for almost American made prices, doesn’t add up.

Eastman is a different story because they have a long history and everything is made in house. I’m assuming these Tyler’s are just made in some random Chinese factory they chose that hasno affiliation to the brand. Which is fine but then again why are you charging $1800 for that?
