I second the Ceres.

Before the Russia/Ukraine bs started you could get Russian copies of preamps in pedal format for around $300. I have Recto, SLO, JCM 800, E530 and Fireball. They’re as accurate as Synergy. There’s a Beastbox ( E530) on reverb now but it’s $460.

For the money, I’d be choosing between Ceres & Pod Go. And I hear good things about the Tightmetal II Pro or whatever it’s called.

KSR Ceres if you're going to run it as a preamp through the FX return. It lays waste to pretty much every other pedal in that setup.

I'm convinced the white Ceres my buddy bought was defective in some way because that thing sounded and felt terrible; not much better than a cheap zoom pedal from the 90's

holler at Griff.....my custom build he did for me is awesome. it was ok for a boost up front. when I finally used the power amp out into the tremoverbs return....fuck....nasty as hell. That's where it's at with mine. basically I was using it wrong the whole time I've had it. if that makes sense. it's pure grrrrrrrr chuggachugga now though....
