Aeroic says the Randall RT2/50 is the best, and he's owned pretty much everything.

True, but he SWORE by the VHT 2/90/2 for the longest time. People change. Gear doesn't. I'd say try as many as you can. The Mesa 50/50 is GREAT and can be had for $500 on Ebay. I currently use a VHT 2/50/2 and think it's excellent. I'm looking to try the M4 with a Mesa 2:90.

For the Record, I said the Mesa 2:Fifty is the suck, NOT the 50/50. Different power amp, different voicing.

Yeah...I did. And I still have my VHT 2/90/2 still and have done a lot of "shoot outs" between the two. The RT2/50 really is as good as the VHT 2/90/2.

Well...I thought the 50/50 sucked too :). the 2:90 is the best power amp of their current line. If you like dark, and a bit loose.

For the record, I never said the 50/50 didn't suck.

Well it just goes to show you, different strokes. I think the Mesa 50/50 is great. If you think the Egnater modules are a bit on the bright side, like I do, a darker power amp, may be just the ticket.

WUH?!?!?!?!?!

The COD is the only module that has ever sounded bright to me, and I'm using a VHT 2150.

I don't run any of my module's treble over noon. :)

Always been that way. The only other player (pro) I know that had the same tendency to constantly roll off the top is Andy Timmons.
